Ingredients
- 250 g cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 120 g butter, softened
- 250-300 g icing sugar
- 30 ml cream (you can use milk but it will not be as creamy)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Method
- Beat butter and cream cheese on medium speed with a hand beater for 3 minutes until soft and creamy.
- Add 250 g icing sugar and beat until thick and combined. Add vanilla and cream and beat on medium speed for 2 more minutes. Add more icing sugar if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Lastly add salt. The salt helps to cut through the sweetness.
