Ingredients
- 225 g butter
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
Method
- Cream butter, sugars and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
- Add sifted dry ingredients, mix.
- Add chocolate and combine well.
- Place large spoonfuls on to greased or lined oven trays leaving plenty of room for them to spread.
- Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
Note: You can add a combination of different types of chocolate or dried fruit such as apricots. As long as it equals 1 ½ cups.
